KEANSBURG, N.J. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in a Keansburg neighborhood after gunfire left one man dead and sent bullets through the area, narrowly missing a woman who was asleep inside her home.

Authorities responded after reports of shots being fired and discovered a male victim who had suffered fatal injuries. Despite efforts to help, the man was pronounced dead.
