KEANSBURG, N.J. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in a Keansburg neighborhood after gunfire left one man dead and sent bullets through the area, narrowly missing a woman who was asleep inside her home.
Authorities responded after reports of shots being fired and discovered a male victim who had suffered fatal injuries. Despite efforts to help, the man was pronounced dead.
The shooting also created a serious danger for nearby residents. Investigators said bullets traveled through the neighborhood, with one projectile reportedly coming dangerously close to a woman who was sleeping at the time. The incident has raised concerns among residents about the circumstances surrounding the gunfire and whether the victim was specifically targeted.
