Man, 40s, injured in Clondalkin shooting incident

Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident in Clondalkin in Dublin last night.

Emergency services attended the scene in St Killian’s Park shortly before 9pm.

A man in his 40s was injured and brought to Tallaght University Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The scene remains preserved as gardaí carry out a technical examination.

They say they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding what may have happened, and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

They have urged anyone who was in the vicinity of St Killian’s Park between 8pm and 9pm last night and who may have camera footage to come forward.
