Authorities in Shreveport have announced an arrest in connection with a May 5, 2026 shooting that left a 19-year-old man wounded in the 1600 block of Marshall Street.

The Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit confirmed that Taurus White has been taken into custody and charged in relation to the incident following a coordinated investigation.

Arrest Made With Warrants Unit Assistance

Police say White was located and apprehended with assistance from the Shreveport Police Department Warrants Unit. He has been charged with:

Investigators noted that additional charges may be filed as the case develops and more evidence is reviewed.

Search Warrant Executed at Residence
