On May 16, 2026, at approximately 5:30 a.m., James Bond was found in the 3400 block of Dury Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by first responders, he tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
James Frederick Bond, 52, of Mt. Kisco, New York, was a man known not only for his work and determination, but for the relationships he built and the lives he touched along the way.
He attended both Cincinnati State and Tuskegee University, carrying with him a drive for growth and a commitment to building something meaningful in his life. Professionally, James was the owner and operator of Go 2 Move, a business he built through hard work and dedication, offering moving services, hauling, clean-outs, junk removal, and more to the community he served.
Beyond his work and accomplishments, James was deeply rooted in family and connection. He was a grandson, son, sibling, cousin, and friend—roles that defined him far more than any title ever could. Those who knew him remember his presence, his efforts, and the relationships he maintained with those closest to him.
His sudden and tragic passing has left family and loved ones grieving an unimaginable loss. In moments like this, words often fall short, but the impact of a life lived remains in the hearts of those who carry his memory forward.
A suspect has been arrested in connection with this case; however, the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities continue to encourage anyone with information that may assist the homicide investigation to come forward.
Please keep the Bond family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, James Frederick Bond.
