A 14-year-old boy has died following an ATV crash Wednesday evening near Aledo, according to emergency officials.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., Parker County ESD #1, PCHD EMS, and the Parker County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on San Jacinto Drive after reports of a serious crash in a field.
Initial information indicates the juvenile was ejected from an all-terrain vehicle after it crashed. When first responders arrived, they located the victim at the scene. He was pronounced deceased from his injuries.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the victim as a 14-year-old male. Additional public reports have identified him as a student at Aledo Middle School.
Authorities have not released his name at this time.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office.
