According to Melbourne Police, the crash occurred around 11:40 a.m. when Patricia was struck by a vehicle while in the intersection. Emergency responders arrived quickly and rushed her to Holmes Regional Medical Center, where she later passed away from her injuries despite extensive lifesaving efforts by medical staff.

Patricia A. Baker, of Melbourne, is being remembered in the wake of an unexpected and devastating loss that has left family, friends, and neighbors grieving. Loved ones are now left holding onto memories as they try to come to terms with her sudden passing.
