ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The investigation into the July 19 shooting on Biltmore Avenue remains active, with Asheville police continuing to pursue leads despite no arrests having been announced.
According to Asheville police, investigators have executed more than 25 search warrants and subpoenas as part of the ongoing investigation. The extensive investigative activity indicates that detectives are working to gather additional evidence and establish a clearer picture of what happened before, during and after the shooting.
Authorities have not announced an arrest or publicly identified a suspect in connection with the incident. Investigators continue to review information obtained through the warrants and subpoenas while following up on potential leads.
