With deep sadness, family, friends, and members of the Boiling Springs and Spartanburg County communities are mourning the loss of Natubhai Patel, 82, who died following injuries sustained in a traffic crash over the weekend.
According to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger, the Coroner’s Office was called to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center on Monday, August 10, to investigate Patel’s death.
Patel, a resident of Benford Drive in Boiling Springs, was identified as the victim of the crash that occurred Saturday evening, August 8.
According to the Coroner’s Office, Patel was involved in a motor vehicle collision at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Paris Bridge Road at Davis Road. He was later treated for injuries sustained in the crash but sadly passed away.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is handling the investigation into the collision. Additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the crash have not yet been released.
