The family and loved ones of Cody Ryan Pilgrim continue to remember a young life that was taken far too soon. Cody, 18, of Robinson, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in Waco, leaving his parents, siblings, extended family, friends, classmates, teammates, and everyone who knew him grieving an unexpected loss.
Cody’s passing brought deep sadness to those who loved him and those who had the privilege of sharing moments with him throughout his life. At only 18 years old, he had a future filled with possibilities ahead of him, making his loss especially painful for his family and community.
Born on August 26, 2004, in Waco, Texas, Cody grew up surrounded by family, friends, and relationships that shaped the person he became. Those close to him continue to hold onto the memories, experiences, and moments that made him special.
His visitation was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 5, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., where family and friends gathered to honor his life and say goodbye.
Cody will be remembered not only for the years he lived but for the impact he made on the people around him. The love, friendships, and memories he left behind will continue to provide comfort to those who miss him.
