South Fulton Homicide: Lamesha Norman Killed, 40-Year-Old Woman Charged With Murder
SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — The City of South Fulton Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Friday night, resulting in the death of Lamesha Norman.
Police said officers responded to a home on Keyhaven Place after receiving a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Norman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators quickly began working to determine what led to the shooting and identify the person responsible. As the investigation developed, police arrested 40-year-old Domina Brown in connection with Norman’s death.
Brown has been charged with murder, according to police. The specific circumstances surrounding the shooting and the events that preceded it have not yet been fully released.
Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the killing. Investigators are expected to continue interviewing witnesses, examining evidence and reconstructing the timeline of events at the Keyhaven Place residence.
Police have also not released additional details about the relationship, if any, between Norman and Brown.
