Curry died Tuesday night, Aug. 25, at his home in Los Angeles, according to multiple reports. His manager confirmed his death, CBS News reported Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that officers responded to a call for service at approximately 11:20 p.m. Tuesday and conducted a death investigation involving a man in his 80s at a North Hollywood residence. TMZ, which first reported Curry’s death, reported that authorities did not suspect foul play.
