According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:48 a.m. when a tan 2016 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling southbound on Shaker Road. Investigators said the vehicle reportedly left the roadway, struck two mailboxes, and overturned.

Crystal was a passenger in the vehicle and was tragically ejected during the crash. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, she suffered fatal injuries.
