According to the initial investigation, deputies responded at approximately 6:58 p.m. to the 7000 east block of State Road 104 following reports that a vehicle had departed the roadway.
Authorities said Irene was traveling eastbound in a blue 2017 Chevrolet when, for reasons that remain unknown, the vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.
Despite the efforts that followed the crash, Irene could not be saved and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
