Chloe A. DeLa Rosa Obituary – Car Accident: Chloe A. DeLa Rosa, 18, Dies After Single-Vehicle Crash in Ashtabula County
With heavy hearts, family, friends and loved ones are mourning the tragic loss of Chloe A. DeLa Rosa, 18, of Jefferson, Ohio, following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Austinburg Township, Ashtabula County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Ashtabula Post, the crash occurred at approximately 4:29 a.m. on September 13, 2026, along Jefferson-Eagleville Road, east of Thiel Road.
Chloe was one of three occupants traveling in a 1999 Toyota Camry. The other occupants were identified as 24-year-old Emily Moisio and 19-year-old Aiden C. Toth, both of Jefferson, Ohio.
Authorities said the Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound when it traveled off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then crossed left of center before leaving the roadway on the right side again, striking a ditch and overturning.
During the crash, Chloe was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
Her death has left those who knew and loved her facing the heartbreaking loss of a young life. At just 18 years old, Chloe’s life was cut short far too soon, leaving behind memories that will remain with her family, friends and community.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are being reviewed by authorities.
