Jordan Allen Drown Accident: Jordan Allen, 25, Dies After Drowning at Cox Hollow Beach in Governor Dodge State Park
Family and friends are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jordan Allen, 25, of Milton, who died Saturday following a drowning at Cox Hollow Beach in Governor Dodge State Park.
Shortly after 5:45 p.m. on September 12, the Iowa County Communications Center received multiple 911 calls reporting that someone had gone underwater at the beach.
Allen had been snorkeling when he went under the water. Family members and nearby bystanders immediately rushed to help and began lifesaving efforts while emergency crews were on their way.
Despite continued efforts to revive him, Allen could not be saved. The Iowa County Coroner’s Office pronounced him deceased at the scene.
News of Jordan Allen’s death has left family members, friends and those who knew him facing an unimaginable loss. His passing serves as a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly an ordinary day can turn into tragedy.
