CLEVELAND, OH — The Cleveland community is mourning the sudden and tragic loss of Rorry James Garrett II, a vibrant local entrepreneur and the heart behind the UnBar Cafe. Rorry passed away in 2026, just a week and a half after celebrating his 40th birthday.
Rorry was more than just a business owner; he was a cornerstone of the local hospitality scene. Through UnBar Cafe, he created a space that served as a gathering point for friends, neighbors, and patrons, leaving an indelible mark on the community through his passion and dedication. His presence was felt by everyone who walked through his doors, and his loss leaves a significant void in the hearts of many.

A celebration of Rorry’s life will be held on Saturday, September 19th, at 3:30 PM at Calhoun Funeral Home, 23000 Rockside Rd., Bedford, Ohio. Following the service, a repast will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mediterranean Event Center, 25021 Rockside Rd., Bedford.
