Matt Kimbrel Obituary – Motorcycle Accident: Matt Kimbrel, 36, Dies After Motorcycle Crash in Huntsville, Alabama
The Huntsville, Alabama, community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Matt Kimbrel, 36, who died following a motorcycle crash Saturday morning. His sudden passing has left family, friends, and loved ones facing an unimaginable loss.
Matt, who was the brother of former Atlanta Braves pitcher Craig Kimbrel, was riding his motorcycle along Old Big Cove Road when it was involved in a collision with a dump truck. The crash left him with serious injuries.
According to HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster, emergency responders were called to the scene at approximately 8 a.m. Saturday. Matt was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment following the collision.
Despite medical efforts, Matt later died from the injuries he sustained in the crash. His death was confirmed by Madison County Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill.
