HOUSTON, Texas — A man was fatally shot Sunday evening at the Pines of Woodforest Apartments in the 90 block of Uvalde Road near Wallisville, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the apartment complex following a call for service reporting a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Despite the emergency response, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide Detectives Investigating
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has assigned homicide detectives to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
Crime scene investigators were also at the apartment complex as authorities worked to document the scene and collect evidence that could help determine exactly what happened.
