The Andover, Minnesota, community continues to rally around Paxton Roy, a 16-year-old Andover High School student who was critically injured in a serious car accident earlier this year.
According to reporting from Bring Me The News, the crash occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. on June 29, 2026, on Crosstown Boulevard Northeast in Ham Lake. Investigators said a sedan traveling westbound crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck traveling eastbound.
Paxton, who was driving the sedan, was airlifted to Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two passengers in the vehicle and the driver of the pickup truck were also hospitalized.
A family-supported fundraiser described Paxton as an honor-roll student and dedicated multi-sport athlete involved in varsity soccer, wrestling, and football. He was also described as someone known for his kindness, humility, sportsmanship, and quiet leadership.
