Authorities have arrested a man suspected of shooting a traffic enforcer along Congressional Road in Barangay Burol 1, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, following a manhunt operation.
According to the report, the incident began after the traffic enforcer stopped the suspect in connection with an alleged traffic violation. The confrontation reportedly escalated, with the suspect allegedly shooting the traffic enforcer before fleeing the area.
Police subsequently launched a manhunt and tracked down the suspected gunman. Authorities said the suspect was arrested and that an alleged firearm was recovered during the operation. Police also reportedly found suspected illegal drugs in the suspect’s possession, although the substance will be subject to proper examination and confirmation.
