A 19-year-old woman, identified as Chloe Verni-Lau, was killed in a devastating head-on collision late Friday night in Boone County, Illinois, leaving three other people seriously injured.
According to authorities, Shaquan Hayes, 28, was driving a Ford Taurus while allegedly intoxicated when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota carrying four people.
Chloe was killed in the crash, while three other occupants suffered serious injuries and were transported for medical treatment.
