According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 1:16 a.m. at the intersection of Lucas-Hunt Road and Maywood Avenue.
Authorities said Miles was driving an SUV southbound on Lucas-Hunt Road with three passengers when the vehicle reportedly traveled at a high rate of speed, crossed the center line, left the roadway, and struck an electrical pole with tremendous force.
