CORTLAND, OHIO — With heavy hearts, the Cortland community is mourning the passing of Heather Marie Robinson, 42, who died on Friday, September 4, 2026, following a motorcycle accident in Cortland.
Born on June 29, 1984, in Warren, Ohio, Heather was remembered as a devoted mother, compassionate nurse, United States Navy veteran, and adventurous woman whose life was defined by intelligence, courage, humor, and selflessness.
Heather graduated from Southeast High School in 2003 before continuing her education in nursing. She earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from ECPI University and later obtained her Registered Nurse (RN) license from Fortis Institute.
Beyond her professional achievements, Heather proudly served four years in the United States Navy in Norfolk, Virginia, where she dedicated herself to serving her country. Through both her military service and nursing career, she spent much of her life caring for and supporting others.
